the truth is out there

Cesar posted today about how there are more and more rumors about the Zune 2.0. Certainly we can’t expect him to tell us everything but luckily for us Cesar likes to drop hints. This isn’t the first time he has used his blog to let us in on the future happenings of the Zune and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Facts:

Fact #1: Cesar uses a slash in the first line of his post. A backslash to be specific. The backslash was introduced by a computer engineer named Bob Bemer. Bemer sounds like tremor. Tremors was a film staring Kevin Bacon. One can only conclude from this that the new Zune be bacon colored.

Fact #2: Cesar could have used any word to describe the number of rumors that will abound about the new Zune but he choose plethora. An anagram for plethora is “help Toar”. Toar is a character in the Popeye’s comic. Toar became immortal after drinking from the “pool of never die”. This one is obviously a reference to the battery life on the new Zune. If I’m reading this correctly -which I am- the new Zune will come with an battery-charging crank. You will never run out of power again.

Fact #3: Interestingly Cesar references characters played by Dolph Lundgren and Sam J. Jones. Obviously, this requires no explanation.

Fact #4: Re-read the title: Rumor and Speculation: Steady as she goes. Need some help? Okay. Steady As She Goes was a hit song by the band the Raconteurs. One of the lines from the song goes, “Settle for a world neither up or down (neither up or down)”. My reading of this would suggest that the Zune 2.0 will have screens on both the top and bottom the device.

Fact #5: Lastly, he posted his message today which is significant. The first ever Fathers Day was celebrated in Spokane, Wa June 19th 1910. What Cesar is saying is that the Zune 2.0 launch party will be held in Spokane. That is really great news for me. I live in Spokane!

None of what Cesar says happens by accident. He has personally told me that he spends his nights trying to come up with new ways of passing along information. I don’t even want to think what might happen to him if he was caught. *Chills*

    Fact #1: That’s a forward slash.

Palmer stole my thunder … Fact#1 is indeed a slash. So here is Fact#1 redone to reflect that:

Cesar uses a slash in the first line of his post. A slash is frequently used in slasher movies. You slash with a sharp pointy object made of steel. One can only conclude from this that the new Zune be steel colored. Not the shiny/chromy (there’s the slash again) steel because that is too iPody. You’ll love it when you see it sune in a zune!

Well done TheNumberDevil! I can’t believe I missed such an obvious clue. I look forward to more of your insight.
